A 35-year-old Kenyan lady has set her house with herself and two of her kids on fire.
The deceased identified as Hellen Vuyanzi and her two kids aged 2 and 4 was burnt to death on Saturday night, New Year day, January 1 in Sirende Village in Lugari Sub-County, Kakamega County.
The mother of three was said to have carried out the act with petrol over the alleged infidelity of her husband killing herself and two of her kids.
The third child aged 11 was said to have survived the fire after jumping out of the house through a window.
According to Lugari Sub-County Police Commander, Bernard Ngungu, the deceased have had a domestic dispute with her husband, One Thomas Amito, accusing him of infidelity.
“Vuyanzi might have bought petrol from a local filling station, and used it to set her matrimonial home alight.”, Police says.
Bodies of the deceased and her two children have been taken to Webuye County Hospital morgue.
