Nigerian musician KCee has opened up about his ongoing beef with artist Harrysong, alleging that Harrysong forged his and his brother’s signatures to defraud a client of almost N3 million. KCee shared this information in an interview with Beat 99.9 FM.
According to KCee, the dispute between them involves Harrysong claiming to have composed all of KCee’s songs, which KCee finds disheartening.
He emphasized that he was already a superstar before signing Harrysong. The alleged forgery of signatures came to light when Harrysong reportedly took money from a client without KCee’s knowledge.
KCee stated that the matter is currently with the police, and he could reactivate it if necessary. He mentioned Ayo Animashaun and Daddy Showkey as witnesses who tried to mediate between them and were upset with Harrysong’s actions.
The musician expressed his frustration, saying, “This is like 8 years or 7 years we went our separate ways but he keeps coming back every year with one thing or the other.”
He highlighted the disparity in their careers, emphasizing that when he won Star Quest, Harrysong was still in the village, and KCee had already released four albums.
