Locally Made Gun Recovered As Two Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested In Delta

Two armed robbery suspects has been arrested by the Delta State police during a stop and search duty along Ughelli in Warri. HGS Media Plus report.

The suspects identified as Kelly Ogoja age 35yrs of Adabrasa community Okpe and Joseph Samuel age 26 of Osubi Community were apprehended by the Eagle net patrol team while trying to escape.

According to report, the suspects were in a vinto car with Reg No. UGH 14 ND with four other occupants when the patrol team on stop and search duty intercepted them. The suspects were said to have jumped out of the car and ran into a nearby bush where they were later caught after being chased by the police.

Upon searching them, a locally made gun was discovered from one of the suspects, Kelly Ogoja. The suspects are currently in police custody as investigation is being carried out.

Confirming the arrest is the Police Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Command, DSP. Bright Edafe.
