Nigerian hip hop artist Ladipo Eso, popularly known as Ladipoe, has openly stated that Afrobeat sensation Wizkid does not serve as a musical inspiration for him.
The Mavin Records artist shared this perspective on Twitter in response to a fan’s inquiry.
Ladipoe clarified his stance by emphasizing that, although Wizkid does not influence him musically, he finds inspiration in the “Joro” singer’s demeanor and business acumen.
The exchange began when Ladipoe tweeted, “RnB inspired me just as much as Hip Hop did.” A fan, with the username @_okikiola_1, sought clarification by asking, “So basically Wizkid is part of the people who inspired you.”
