A lecturer at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University identified as Chima Anolue has been killed with a pestle by his houseboy, HGS Medit Plus.
HGS Media Plus gathered that the incident happened on Friday 14, 2023 at Ifite village in Awka Ibom.
Anolue was at the Psychology Department of Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka before he was killed.
Trouble started when the deceased ask the suspect to cook rice. The suspect was said to be cooking the rice when the Anolue asked the suspect why he did not wash plate.
Consequently, it went out of hand when the suspect refused to answer the question, and then the deceased angrily slapped him which in turn caused a physical confrontation.
The suspect picked up a pestle and hit him in the head.
The suspect was arrested and confessed to commiting crime.
