A group of young ladies employed at the Dangote Sugar Refinery has taken to TikTok to provide insights into their daily experiences and activities at the renowned sugar production facility.
Contrary to popular belief, the video reveals that the employees are not constantly in proximity to the company’s owner, Alhaji Aliko Dangote. Instead, they wear protective gear daily and engage in tasks related to the refinery’s operations.
The video addresses people’s perceptions, emphasizing that the employees are not as wealthy as commonly assumed. It also highlights practical aspects of their work life, such as climbing heavy staircases and the provision of meal tickets and staff buses by the company.
Notably, the video concludes with the revelation that the refinery produces approximately 65,000 bags of sugar every day.
