Nigerian music sensation Wizkid, born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, has bared his heart about the profound loss he experienced following his mother’s passing in August of the previous year.
Known for openly sharing his deep love for his late mother, Wizkid took to his Instagram story to reveal the emotional toll her death has taken on him.
He expressed that a part of himself has been lost since her demise, highlighting the significant impact her absence has had on his life.

Despite the pain, he acknowledges the strength he gains from the love and encouragement of those around him.
However, the artist also issued a warning, urging some to stay away, emphasizing that he is now more prone to giving away “slaps for free.”
