Fire has raised down a portion of the palace of Ooni of Ife, HGS Media Plus gathered.
According to report, the courtyard section of the palace linked with a power surge caught on fire on Friday night, April 28.
It was gathered that the fire was caused by an electrical appliances.
The fire service, palace aides and available indigenes responded swiftly to put out the fire.
The palace spokesman, Otunba Moses Olafare, confirmed that the situation has been brought under control.
