NPC Enumerators Will Begin Training For The Census On March 31 And The Closing Date

The National Population Commission (NPC) has set a deadline of March 31 for all NPC enumerators who applied to participate in the upcoming census exercise to commence their training, according to Alhaji Sa’eed Yusuf, the State Director of the NPC in Ilorin, during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Prior to the training, messages will be sent to all applicants, and the training will last for seven days. Applicants who are unsure of their participation may still be called upon. Yusuf also announced the completion of center managers’ training, and he will ensure that all training facilities meet requirements. Despite the change in census date to May, NPC is prepared for the exercise and activities leading up to it. To ensure a successful census, the director called for greater material and financial support.

Things to know before attending NPC training for 2023 enumerators and supervisors.

Regarding NPC Training in 2023,

(1) participants must bring one of the documents they filled out during their application for NPC Recruitment on the first day of training. Prior to training,

(2) participants will be informed of the location where the training will be held in their state or local government. It is mandatory for all

(3) participants to bring an Android smartphone and power bank to the training.

(4) Pregnant and lactating women will not be allowed to participate in the training due to health and safety concerns.

During the training,

(1) participants are advised to pay attention to what is being taught.

(2) Training allowances will be paid to the bank account that was submitted during the job application and temporary work approval. It is important to note that

(3) anyone who fails to attend the training will be removed from the list of those who will benefit from the program. Therefore, attending the training is crucial.

Furthermore, the National Population Commission has made it clear that (8) those who refuse to receive training will not be paid at all. It is important for all participants to take the training seriously and attend all sessions to ensure a successful census exercise.
