Husband Allegedly Beat Wife To Death Over Loaf Of Bread In Anambra

A woman and mother-of-five identified as Ogochukwu Anene has died after allegedly being beaten by her husband, one Mr Ndubisi Wilson Uwadiegwu over a loaf of bread.

HGS gathered that the deceased was from Umuokpu village in Awka, Anambra State, os from Enugu state.

The union which is blessed with four sons and a daughter turned into domestic violent when the deceased reportedly asked her husband money to buy bread for the family, but he said he had no money.

It was said that she used her money to buy bread for the family.

It wad gathered that Ndubuisi allegedly went into the kitchen and finished the whole bread and when she confronted him for finishing the bread without keeping any for their children, he allegedly beat her up with his fists and a mirror.

Consequently, she collapsed during the beating and died few hours later.

It is also learnt that the husband still remains free and is allegedly planning to bury her without informing her people properly.

Her death has sparked outrage and many who knew her have taken to Facebook to demand justice for the deceased.
