Flood Sweeps Man Away In Abule Egba, Lagos

A man was reportedly swept away by flood in Abule Egba area of Lagos State.

HGS Media Plus reports that the incident happened on Monday morning, September 19 after a downpour of rain.

According to an eyewitness, the man was covered by the flood but he managed to bring out his hand to ask for help.

They tried to help the man but to no avail.

“The flood must have been sweeping him from a different location because it was just his hand that we saw inside gutter.”

“He was waving for help and we tried to pull him out but we couldn’t.”

I think debris hacked him down and it was slippery and the force of the water was just too much.”
