Armed Robbers Attack First Bank And Zenith Bank Branches In Kogi

Heavily armed robbers on Tuesday afternoon, September 6 attacked two commercial banks, First Bank and Zenith Bank in Kogi, HGS Media Plus learnt.

The attack according to report took place at Ankpa town in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State.

It was gathered that the robbers operated for an hour without any form of resistance from security operatives.

It was also gathered that the robbers came in different vehicles and started shooting sporadically.

HGS Media Plus also learnt that the robberss were armed with explovies which was used to blow up the security doors and ransacking the buildings.

Five persons were reportedly shot dead by stray bullets while others sustained injuries due to the explosion.
