Two Injured As Gunmen Open Fire On President Buhari’s Convey In Katsina
Unknown gunmen reportedly attacked and opened fire on President Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy during his trip to Daura, Katsina State for Sallah celebration.
The attacked which happened near Dutsinmaon, Katsina on Tuesday, July 5 got two person injured.
According to the presidential aide, Garba Shehu, the gunmen were repelled by military, police and DSS personnel accompanying the convoy.
He said that the convoy which was ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy was occupied by Advance Team of security guards, protocol and media officers.
He also added that the injured persons are currently receiving treatment while other personnel, staff and vehicles made it safely to Daura.
