A suspected battery thief was on Saturday, May 21 beaten by angry residents after allegedly being caught stealing a car battery in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The suspect was said to have stole a car battery from a Toyota Camry car that was parked opposite Challenge area of Ilorin.
HGS Media Plus gathered that the suspect tried running away after stealing the battery but was unfortunately caught by residents and beaten mercilessly.
It was also gathered that the suspect confessed to the crime and several beaten and then demonstrated how it is to steal batteries from cars without keys.
