Child Trafficker Arrested While Trying To Transport An Underaged Girl To Dubai

The Nationa Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has arrested a suspected child trafficker.

NAPTIP in collaboration with the Nigeria Immigration Service Anambra State commanf on Wednesday, May 11 arrested the suspect while trying to transport a female victim to Dubai.

It was gathered that the suspect who resides in Onitsha was caught by trying to procure a Nigerian passport for the victim to be trafficked to Dubai.

The suspect is said to have partners in Edo State and Dubai who help in carrying out the trafficking.

The victim has been taken to a safe home by NAPTIP while investigation is been carried out.
