Tanker Explodes on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

There was panic among motorists today, March 10 on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when a fuel tanker exploded.

The tanker exploded around purpolar church, ‘Mountain Of Fire Miracles Ministry (MFM), Prayer City.

It was gathered that the explosion was caused as a result of two vehicles crashing with the tanker.

Although, no causalities was recoreded as at the time of filing this report.

Spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), Ogun State command, Florence Okpe who comfirmed the incident said “multiple crash involving a Tanker and two other vehicles just occurred around mountain of fire church on the outward section of the LAGOS-IBADAN Expressway,”

“There is an outbreak of fire at the scene. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously and remain calm until the fire is extinguished.” She added.
