ISWAP Fighters And Their Families Surrender To Army In Borno

At least one hundred and four fighters of the Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP) have surrendered with their families to the 25 Task Force Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Damboa, Borno State.

The Nigerian Army in a statement on Saturday, February 5 said both women and children were among those who surrendered.

Deadly assaults on the terrorists by the military have forced the family members of the fighters out of their hiding.

The family members were forced out of their hiding place after deadly assaults on the terrorists by the Military.
