A suspected phone thief has been rescued from being lynched to death by angry mob in Otowodo community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The suspect was caught by some angry okada riders on Wednesday evening, January 12 for allegedly stealing a phone and was beaten to pulp. HGS Media Plus gathered.
The suspect was said to have been rescued by the youth chairman of the community, Comrade Amos Muller and handed over to the police who then bundled him into their car boot.
