A man in Katsina has removed the roof sheet of his house in bid to sell and raise a ramson for his son who was reportedly kiddnapped by bandits.
The man identified as Saidu Faskari is said to be a farmer from Faskari local government which is reportedly a target point for bandits and among the 13 local government where the State governor, Aminu Masari shut down mobile communication to reduce insecurity.
HGS Media Plus learnt that the said farmer had been kidnapped by bandits in December and his son paid a ramson of N50,000 to bail him out, but consequently, the son was also kidnapped by the same bandits and this time requested the farmer to paid N100,000 for the release of his son.
A video sighted by our correspondent, which was posted by a Katsina reporter from a news website, ‘Katsina Daily Post News’ shows the farmer removing his roof.
According to the video, the farmer said narrated how his son got kidnapped by the bandits when he was went to pay for his release when he was abducted by bandits for 13 days in their custody. He added that he has not been able to feed, talk more of having the money to pay the ramson for his son.
