The first female deputy speaker of the Lagos State house of assembly, Adetoun Adediran is dead.
Adediran who was elected deputy speaker between 1999 to 2003 was said to have died on Wednesday, 5 January, 22 after battling a brief illness.
She was also said to be the former state women leader, South-West women leader and chairperson in Lagos Building Investment Company (LBIC).
