One Junior Ajayi, an Apprentice and Mr. Amadi, are over each others throat over who is the biological father of a baby boy born by a 21-year-old lady identified as Blessing.
Ajayi who spoke with ITV Benin said he impregnated the said Blessing and took responsibility for the pregnancy. He said he introduced himself to the father of Blessing when the pregnancy was just two months old.
He said Blessing’s aunt who she was residing with suggested that she terminates the pregnancy since he, Ajayi, wasn’t financially stable. He alleged that the aunt droved her out of the house leave her house prompty him, Ajayi to take Blessing in and nurtured her until she delivered a boy.
He said he was surprise four months after the delivery of the baby, another man, Mr Amadi claiming to be the father of the child came to forcefully take the baby and the mother away from him.
Ajayi said that he took the Grace of God for Blessing to delivery the baby successfully, else she would have died in the process. He said he noticed that anytime Amadi called Blessing, she was always hiding to receive his calls. He added that Blessing informed him that Amadi has his own house.
He said he cried out because the man in question is just trying to oppress him.
Amadi who said he is married but yet to have a child, said he knows that he is the father of the boy in question. He said he wasn’t around when the lady was pregnant, but he was always sending money for her upkeep. He said he has named the child Samuel and that his wife is aware of the baby.
The said Blessing says she believes Amadi is the father of her child. Meanwhile Blessing’s father insists that Ajayi is the one he knows as the father of his grandson.
