Fifteen persons have reportedly been killed in a bandits attack that occurred in Goronyo and Illela local government areas of Sokoto State.
The attack which claimed the lives of fifteen persons were said to have happened on Sunday night, November 14 into Monday morning. HGS Media Plus gathered.
It was said that Twelve people were killed in Munwadata town and Kamalo in Illela and three others lost their lives in Goronyo.
The State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal confirmed the attack on Monday, during the state’s 2022 draft budget in the State’s house of Assembly.
The Governor however condoled with the families of those who lost their loved ones to the attacks, as well as people of the affected communities
