Parents needs to be very careful when leaving their children at home or better yet take them along when going out in other to avoid what happened to this 10-year-old girl.
One Soji Bakare has been arrested by the Ondo State Police for defiling a 10-year-old girl while her mother was away.
The suspect was arrested at Aiyeyemi street in isolo area where the crime was committed in Auke, Ondo State.
The suspect was said to have committed the crime when the victim’s mother went to the community market.
According to the victim’s mother, the suspect was caught in the act and then handed over to the State Divisional Police.
The victim has been taken to the hospital for treatment and examination.
The State Police Command Fummi Odunlami confirmed the incident. He said that the suspect would be charged to court as soon as investigation into the case is concluded.
