Parents needs to be very careful as to whom they leave their child/children with to avoid stories or event that may not be go down well with them.
A 31-year-old lady identified as Shade Adelowo has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for using razor blade to inflict injuries on the body of her neighbor’s son. HGS Media Plus report.
The lady was arrested on Sunday, October 24 at Giwa oke aro area of Agbado in Ogun State.
It was gathered that the 11-year-old victim identified as Kehinde Ojo used to stay with the suspect whenever his mother is not at home.
According to report, the suspect accused the victim of stealing the sum of #3000 from her purse and as a result, used razor blade to inflict injuries on him.
The suspect was said to have been taken care of the victim and his twin brother for a while due to the fact that the mother was not always around because of the menial jobs she has been engage in since her husband abandoned her and three children.
While interrogation the suspect, she claimed she did not know what came over her, putting the blame on the devil.
The victim has been taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, is said to have ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the anti-human trafficking and child labor unit of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and diligent prosecution.
