One Mohammed Sale, age 42 has taken the life of his daughter, miss Aisha, age 16 after finding out that she is not his biological child. HGS Media Plus reports.
The father of nine who is from Sabon Pegi in Mayo Belwa Local Government Area of Admawa State was arrested by the police after the dead body of his daughter was found in the bush.
The unfortunate incident happened on Saturday 9th October, 2021 when Mohammed tricked the deceased in following him to the market in pretense that he wants to buy fish for the family. It was then Mohammed and his friend reportedly striped the deceased and beat her to death with a stick before abandoning her dead body in the bush.
According to report, the suspect had found out from one of his wifes, Mrs Zulei Mohammed that the deceased was not his biological daughter. Apparently, the wife was already pregnant for another man before she got married to the suspect.
It was gathered that the news got the Mohammed mad and as a result divorcied his first wife and left the deceased with his second wife.
It was also learnt that the suspect was advised by his friend who had committed the crime with him to report to the police that his daughter was missing which he consented to and made a missing report at the Mayo Belwa Divisional Headquarters. After investigations was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), it was discovered that Mohammed was involved his daughter’s disappearance.
Mohammed later confessed to the crime after series of interrogation by the Criminal Investigation Department and the scene of the crime where the dead body was dumped was consequently discovered. Although, Mohammed’s friend is currently at large.
