One Olivia James, an undergraduate of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana in Ebonyi State has committed suicide over a heartbreak.
The Library and Information Science (LIS) student was said to have drank sniper insecticide because her boyfriend broke up with her.
According to report, Olivia took her own life days after celebrating her birthday on the 6th of October 2021.
Report online revealed that Olivia died on arrival to the hospital where she was being rushed to for emergency treatment.
It was gathered that Olivia caught her boyfriend cheating on her but forgave him and later had a misunderstanding with him which made he to stop answering her calls.
It was also said that when she called his phone, a strange lady picks his call. This got Olivia upset and as a result, she committed suicide.
More report revealed that Olivia sent her friend a message to let her know of her plan, unfortunately, she was not online to receive the message.
When her friend saw the message, it was already late as Olivia had taken the sniper
Olivia was said to have baked cakes and makes small chops which she used in assisting herself in school.
